Join us for some late summer sun.

Belvoir BlastOpen to all, this sportive is for the lads as well as the lasses. There is a choice of 3 circular road routes (28, 58 and 100 miles).

As with all our events, the focus is on great rides, scrumptious cakes and an all round good day out. Check out our reviews on our Facebook page.

Our event HQ is at Hose Village Hall in Leicestershire.

Sign on from 7.30 a.m.

100 mile route departs at 8 a.m.

58 mile route departs at 9 a.m.

28 mile route departs at 9.30 a.m.

Blast 28 – 28 miles (approx. 1620ft climbing)

If you are not familiar with cycling in the Vale of Belvoir, then you are in for a treat.  The country lanes are very quiet and the villages and scenery are pretty and varied.  This route will provide the challenge of a few of the iconic local hills and will take you on some of the less well travelled roads in the Vale.  Enjoy the chance to refuel and recharge at our ‘Piece of Cake’ feed station at 15 miles.

Note…just in case you were wondering,  this is a different route from our ‘Belles of Belvoir’ event held in June.

This ride heads out on the same route as the 26 miler and passes the same ‘Piece of Cake’ feed-station at 15 miles. At 18 miles, in Knipton, you will peel away and head South East towards your second feed-station near Buckminster. Heading back through the quiet roads of the Western side of the Vale of Belvoir, you will cycle through picturesque Colton Bassett, home of Stilton cheese, before returning to Hose.
