As with all our events, the focus is on great rides, scrumptious cakes (for riders only please!) and an all round good day out. Check out our reviews on our Facebook page.

Blast 28 – 28 miles (approx. 1620ft climbing)

If you are not familiar with cycling in the Vale of Belvoir, then you are in for a treat. The country lanes are very quiet and the villages and scenery are pretty and varied. This route will provide the challenge of a few of the iconic local hills and will take you on some of the less well travelled roads in the Vale. Riders can enjoy the chance to refuel and recharge at our ‘Piece of Cake’ feed station at 15 miles.

Note…just in case you were wondering,  this is a different route from our ‘Belles of Belvoir’ event held in June.

Online entries are now closed. There may be some spaces left on Sunday – please email hello@2wheelsandpieceofcake.co.uk to check (CASH £38)

Junior (8-17) £10 on the day – please email hello@2wheelsandapieceofcake.co.uk to reserve a space

Blast 60 – 60 miles (approx. 2800ft climbing)

This ride heads out on the same route as the 28 miler and passes the same ‘Piece of Cake’ feed-station at 15 miles. At 18 miles, in Knipton, you will peel away and head  towards your second feed-station on the edge of Waltham on the Wolds (42miles). Heading back through the quiet roads of the Western side of the Vale of Belvoir, you will cycle through picturesque Colston Bassett, home of Stilton cheese, before returning to Hose.

2 feed stations enroute for riders only please.
